Mechanic crashes Lamborghini Gallardo

We see it more and more often. Owners bring their car to the dealership for some maintance and then some of the mechanics crashes the car. The same thing happened in Austria, where a mechinic took out a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. The mechanic will have some explaining to do at the dealership!

The mechanic fixed some minor problems of the Gallardo Spyder and when he was finished he took the car for a ride. A friend joined him and eventually they crashed the car. The mechanic lost control of the car, hit the guard rail and made a rollover. Luckily, the passengers weren't injured. The only thing that's injured will probably the the mechanic's wallet.

I know later tonight we are going to have some stuffed burritos with a side of wasabi just like this original-generation Fiat 500 has in the form of a 580 horsepower Lamborghini V12 shoehorned into the rear. When it comes to extreme engine swaps, this original Fiat 500 just about takes the cake after having a custom fitting of a 3.2-liter Porsche 911 Carrera engine then a 3.0-liter Ferrari V8 and now a 6.2-liter Lamborghini V12. Driver Survives Brutal Ferrari California Crash

This has to be one of the worst Ferrari crashes in recent history. It happened this weekend in the Bavarian town of Langquaid. We believe this is the mangled remains of a Ferrari California. All we have to go on is the wheel, the rest of the Italian supercar is completely unrecognisable.

Bild.de report that the 42 year old driver miraculously survived the wreckage. He is in a critical condition after being airlifted away from the scene of the accident. It appears as though the driver lost control of the car at high speed, veering into the trees. The car overturned several times leaving wreckage stretched along a 100 meter section of the road.

Bild reports that the damage amounts to around 130,000 euros. Looking at the remains though, we reckon the car is a complete write off. Hopefully the driver makes a full recovery.
