Finally its official!
Its time to represent the world’s first mega car Koenigsegg One:1, destined for the Geneva Motor Show 2014. Koenigsegg revealed all the parameters of the One:1 this morning . What Koenigsegg is doing now ? Sure that is taking her platform to a new level with the One:1.Very exciting about this.The very unique design incorporates this new aerodynamic updates and these include the use of track optimized aero winglets on the front bumper, extended venturi tunnels and side splitters, a Le-Mans inspired active wing configuration at the rear and an optimized active under trim air management.

Large air vents for improve cooling to the engine and a roof air scoop helps to keep the car glued to the ground.The Koenigsegg One:1 with all its new parts features a drag coefficient of 0.45-0.50 depending on the adaptable rear wings. The total downforce produced at 260 km/h is equal to 610 kg whilst at 440 km/h, the One:1 develops 830 kg of pressure.

The One:1 pulls 2G in the corners on road legal tyres.So, to the engine. Koenigsegg retains its own design Koenigsegg aluminium 5.0 litre V8 unit with, 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts and variable geometry twin turbochargers. The boost is also increased up to 1.8 bar boost pressure from 1.4 bar boost pressure in the Agera R. Power figures are truly impressive. Koenigsegg quotes 1 Megawatt of power and an 8,250 rpm rev limit. Torque is rated at 1371 Nm from 6000 rpm. this equates to a horsepower figure of 1,341 hp. Even with the upgrades, the engine weighs the same in the One:1. Koenigsegg fit a carbon fibre intake manifold with optimized intake tracts (identical to the Agera R) and the same tig-welded ceramic coated Inconel exhaust system manifold with merge collector except with new lightweight exhaust tips .The transmission is a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox with an electronic differential included.
Koenigsegg have chosen not to release a 0-100 km/h time (quite frankly it would be low enough to almost render it irrelevant!). Instead, they quote a 0 – 400 km/h (around 250 mph) time of approximately 20 seconds and 400 – 0 km/h in approximately 10 seconds. The car is also said to achieve a braking distance of just 28 metres from 100-0 km/h. So, a big part of the Koenigsegg One:1 package is the braking system. Both front and rear brakes are carried over from the Agera R, with power assisted ventilated ceramic discs measuring 397 mm in diameter, 40 mm in width and with 6 ceramic piston callipers at the front. At the rear, the One:1 gets ventilated ceramic discs measuring 380 mm in diameter, 34 mm in width and with 4-piston callipers. The traction control comes with 5 different handling modes.
The Koenigsegg One:1 gets upgrade rear triplex suspension with carbon bevel springs and active shock absorbers. The suspension package includes active ride height and shock absorbing and variable stiffness spring ratios. The carbon chassis and bodywork is 20% lighter due to the use of of M46J & M55J high modulus fibres.

To put the power down, custom made Michelin Cup Tires are fitted each corner with a speed rating of 440 km/h. The measure 19 inches and 265/35 at the front and 20 inches and 345/30 at the rear. These measures combine with revolutionary Koenigsegg Aircore carbon fiber wheels, a different design to those Koenigsegg previously released. Of course the price is not yet declared( and sure that takes part in the range of millions) but according to price Koenigsegg will different options.These include one piece racing bucket seats, active shock absorber settings, a full clear carbon body, custom body striping, upgraded audio system, painted calipers, personalized logo on rear hood, anodized black aluminium interior, custom leather One:1 custom luggage set, custom diamond encrusted key, titanium exhaust outlet, active noise cancellation, 3G telematics system and the variable turbo geometry and anything else that you’ve have dreamed of!
Only six of these cars will leave the factory & only two will be present in Europe! All sold!  If you’re exciting,happy or sad this is how Koenigsegg One:1 looks like.According to the parameters this is the perfection and definitely the maximum definition of speed!

Nissan has never offered the R35 GT-R as a convertible, but that hasn’t stopped a Californian company from offering an aftermarket conversion. The firm in question is Newport Convertible Engineering, who have been responsible for dubious cabriolet conversions in the past on cars like the Range Rover and Jaguar XJ.

The GT-R conversion is being offered in three different styles: the Porsche Carrera GT-like option seen here, one with long buttresses stretching behind the seats, or a simpler design with a flatter rear section. By the looks of it these images are renders rather than pictures of the real thing, but Newport Convertible seem deadly serious about offering this conversion.
The process will of course add weight and drastically reduce the car’s rigidity, but we want to know what you guys think of the looks. Get voting!

Nissan GT-Rs tearing up a mountain road has recently surfaced, with a very unfortunate ending. Just from the video it looks like the driver lost the control of the car and entered the bend too fast causing the car understeer (because it may be the great speed while trying to turn the car).Not a lucky day for the driver , and sure for the car was a very bad ending. We hope that none has been seriously damaged !

Koenisegg Hundra

Koenigsegg will debut a new supercar called the Koenigsegg Hundra at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 next week. The car is the 100th supercar produced by the Swedish car maker hence the name “Hundra” which means 100 in Swedish.

Let’s go back to where it all began; the year is 2002 where after eight painstaking years of constant development, the small striving Koenigsegg team delivered the first production cars to anticipating customers. 10 years later, in September 2012, the first carbon prepreg pieces were cut on the routing machine for Koenigesgg’s 100th production car. This car was the Hundra, a unique one-off Agera S being built for an excited car collector.
The Hundra is a beautiful clear carbon right hand drive Agera S with celebratory, artisan hand laid and swirled, 24 carat gold leaf inlays creating an intriguing mix of traditional and hi-tech craftsmanship. The Koenigsegg family has grown from a handful of dedicated craftsmen and engineers, to over 50 full-time employees and more than one hundred proud caretakers of precious Koenigsegg cars.

Kimi has been busy in Maranello

Kimi with the LaFerrari As Stefano Domenicali mentioned this morning in the interview he gave, Kimi Raikkonen is seen more and more often in Maranello, proof that he plans to get even more involved than in the past as he embarks on his second adventure with the Prancing Horse. Today, Kimi’s schedule involved several meetings with the engineers to prepare the programme for the upcoming test sessions in Bahrain, as well as fine tuning his driving position in the cockpit of the F14 T. This year’s race car was not the only Ferrari Kimi was keen to see close up and he ended the day having his first drive in a LaFerrari, the road car that represents the very essence of what makes the cars built in Maranello unique in the world. The Finn soon felt comfortable behind the wheel of the supercar, but there wasn’t enough time for him to test its performance on the Fiorano track. The most craziest Nurburgring Lap Of The Year!

Getting a ten minute lap hasn’t been an easy one for the driver. Doing it in a Citroen AX however is a whole different game.But Yes we have to mention that he is very talented.Often there are parts that he is keeping up with much faster cars through the corners which must have let the drivers wondering what was going on. After 7 years, 118 laps, 9 engines and 5 gearboxes the little AX finally did it with a 9:55 Bridge to Gantry lap. Aside from Yokohama AO48s, a small increase in fuel pressure, a strut bar and an aluminium intake from the 52hp 1.5 diesel to avoid the strut brace, the AX was fairly standard.Good job man ! this was a truly heroic act by a capable professional!

How to add More Horse Power to your car

  1. 1 High-Flow Air Filter: K&N Air Filters are warranted for 1,000,000 miles, and can add 5 horsepower or more depending on vehicle. Also, AEM used a "dryflow air filter than never needs oil. And AEM is the only intake system to be 50 state legal. So, you don't ever have to buy new air filters, but you're also letting your engine breathe better, adding a small amount of power. For about $40-$250 for most applications, this is an excellent place to start...For better results + sound, take off your air silencer ( black tube in the fender connecting to the air box ) get more kick with a side of hearing your engine inhale.

    Performance Exhaust: Have a muffler shop that knows what they're doing upgrade your exhaust system. The term for what you want is a "header-back" exhaust. That mans that it will be built up from the exhaust headers back to the end of the car (pretty much straight from your engine to the tailpipe). I-4 cars should go up to 2.5 exhaust, unless a turbocharger is equipped, then 3" is acceptable. V6/V8 cars should have 2.5"-3" exhaust all the way through. Performance Exhaust will greatly increase the amount of noise the car makes. The exhaust will change to a deep, rich tone, that is appealing to some people, but will be much louder than stock. Not recommended for people who like their car to be quiet.

    High-Flow Exhaust Headers: These are expensive and will add only a small power gain. This is what a person does when they have exhausted other possibilities and are willing to accept a high cost upgrade for a small performance gain. Exhaust headers go well with performance exhaust.

    Performance Cams: These are an engine part that will make your car rev up more quickly. These are on the expensive side, and are difficult to install, but work in excellent conjunction with header or exhaust upgrades.

    High-Performance Tires: If you're upgrading your car, get some good tires. It doesn't matter how much power you have if you don't get good traction.
  6. 6
    Turbocharging/Supercharging: This can add up to 25-30% power gains. However, turbocharger kits cost about $3000 for common applications, and go up in price for less common applications. Turbochargers are excellent for any car, anywhere, but can be prohibitively expensive, and are difficult to install.

    Cold-Air/Ram-Air Intake: This is a simple upgrade that makes your air intake draw in air from a cooler place outside your car. Some cars will benefit greatly, and some will not. Usually, higher-end cars will not be able to benefit from this, as they already have a well-designed air intake system.

    Engine Swap: Changing the engine out for something stronger. Note that this is an incredibly intensive project, reserved for people building up extremely high-end cars themselves, people who have extensive mechanical knowledge.

    Weight Reduction: Start with taking all the junk out of your car's trunk. All that stuff is adding weight. Remember that as little as 20 pounds can change how well a car accelerates. You can also go for more expensive weight reduction such as replacing body parts with carbon fiber.

    Water-Injection: For $300, a good water-injection kit increases gas mileage, power, reduces carbon deposits within the combustion chambers, and prevents engine pinging. Most of the time, having such a system installed will even let you buy lower-octane fuel. Water-injection kits will have almost no performance gains on naturally-aspirated engines, but can help restore lost power. Turbocharged engines will have massive power gains with water-injection.

At G-Power, the M5 forms the basis in order to bring world records onto the road. The high-revving V10 is a tribute to the to BMW’s F1 engine. With the G-Power treatment, this unique powerhouse gets the chance to unleash its full potential.
For the M5, G-Power offers all the components to turn it into a spine-tingling world record breaker. Also, G-Power is the only manufacturer to install a supercharger that is capable to be at eye level with the M philosophy of naturally aspirated, high-revving engines. At the same time, G-Power achieves performance figures capable of lifting the M5 to supercar levels.
Thereby, the modifications reach from varying expansion stages of the G-Power supercharger systems and in-house designed SILVERSTONE lightweight wheels through to exhaust systems with the legendary G-Power DEEPTONE soundtrack and race-proved coilover suspensions which are able to put the increase in power onto the road. In order to adapt the deceleration to the power surplus, G-Power has developed its own high-performance breaking system. In addition, the G-Power Highline aerodynamic solutions are not only improving looks, but more importantly they increase downforce and optimise air supply for the superchargers.

G-POWER HURRICANE RR with 372 km/h the World’s Fastest Sedan
Following up on the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS powered by a G-POWER twin-supercharger engine with 750 hp/551 kW, which has set the record for the ‘world’s fastest sedan’ at 367,4 km/h in early 2010, G-POWER did it again. But this time with 372 km/h! With this target in mind, the development for the new evolutionary HURRICANE RR with 800 hp began.

A few weeks ago, the air is tight with tension when the G-POWER engineers give their “go” for the M5 HURRICANE RR to manage the ultimate test: High Speed. It takes only a few minutes to change the standard 20 inch G-POWER forged wheels to 19 inch ones. The wheels, especially fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that Michelin are certified for top speeds of more than 370 km/h. The HURRICANE RR is ready to go, the test track as well. Apart from the swop of the wheels the HURRICANE RR is completely standard and relies predominantly on its power of the bi-supercharger engine. And just a few laps later it is done. The analysis of the engineers states a top speed of 372,1 km/h. World record! Once again…

To achieve this extreme performance, the twin supercharger system of the high-revving V10 has been redesigned. The two superchargers named ASA T1-313 have been replaced by larger ASA T1-316 units. They are both driven by a belt and do provide each cylinder bank with supercharged air. This means more space for the supercharged air by up to 25 percent. The air volume being transported by these modified superchargers is able to generate a theoretical power output of more than 900 hp.

The pre-compressed air from the superchargers is cooled for a maximum power output. A complicated aluminium casting - painted in G-POWER orange - replaces the standard air box on top of the engine, and its direct inlet is responsible for the spontaneous response characteristics which give the G-POWER motor its incomparable response and also much more torque.

The inner workings of the 10-cylinder, four-valve engine are optimised by light, precisely balanced MAHLE high-performance forged pistons with lower compression and increased mechanical strength. As the standard connecting rods and piston pins were equally not up to the considerably increased forces, here too, recourse was had to special parts.

An optimized mapping of the engine electronics also contributes to the increased power output of 800 hp / 588 kW, available between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm. The engine delivers its peak of torque of 800 Nm at 5,000 rpm.

But the G-POWER HURRICANE RR does not only set new performance standards for top speed. With an acceleration of just 4.35 seconds from nought to 100 km/h, 9.5 seconds up to 200 km/h and 25,8 seconds up to 300 km/h the two-ton sedan is also leading his class.

The G-POWER technology is available for all current M5 and M6 models. The G-POWER SK III bi-supercharger engine conversion with 750 hp / 551 kW starts at 56,000 Euros (net). 

In addition to the most powerful BMW engine ever being fitted to a street-legal BMW M5 a new aerodynamic for maximum efficiency was key. The HURRICANE RR is equipped with the G-POWER “HIGHLINE” body kit. In addition to provide the necessary downforce the body kit is also designed to provide significant more air flow to cool the engine. The body kit consists of front and rear skirts and spoilers, doors render and the rear spoiler.

Two tons of weight and a top speed of 372.1 km/h naturally require extreme demands on the tires, being fitted on special G-POWER forged wheels. Our technology partner Michelin provided high-performance Pilot Sport tires in the dimensions 255/35 ZR 19 at the front axle and 305/30 ZR 19 at the rear axle for this reason. For every day use the G-POWER HURRICANE RR runs on 20-inch Silverstone CLUBSPORT wheels with the dimensions 245/35 ZR 20 and 285/30 ZR 20 front and rear.

Even more contributions to the HURRICANE RR’s high-speed talents are coming from a G-POWER high-performance brake system and the height-adjustable G-POWER RS coilover suspension that is adjustable for both compression and rebound in nine settings.

The interior of the record car features a tachometer reading up to 400 km/h, clear-coated carbon-fiber panels for the dashboard, center console and door panels. An ergonomically shaped G-POWER sports steering wheel with especially perforated Kjerba Nappa leather is completing this package.

The G-POWER HURRICANE RR can be ordered as a complete car, only. Any current M5 model – sedan or station wagon – can also be equipped with the individual G-POWER components of the world record holder.
